Deng Chanyu rode the five-colored god's ox, wearing the free-spirited crown, draped in the purple cao-baishuian robe with inscribed divination symbols, holding a jade wishful joy in her hand. The divine ox moved leisurely as if in a garden path, leisurely emerging from the space passage.
The Clarity sect immortals, engaged in a fierce blood battle with numerous monsters, couldn't help but glance at you twice. No wonder you appeared last; it turns out you were taking the oxen?
Why did you specifically go for the oxen? Is there any particular significance to this?
They were busy with the battle, so they didn't have time to ask.
Deng Chanyu then shook the Bagua purple silk divine robe on her body.
New clothes.
This was given to her by the White Crane Youth when she went to take the oxen just now.
The Bagua purple belt divine robe is not exclusive to the Celestial Master, but rather a standardized equipment owned by the Clarity sect with independent intellectual property rights, possessing the entire processing process and materials. It is not limited to the immortals of the Clarity sect; anyone who makes sufficient contributions can exchange for one at the Yu Xiu Palace. The Great Emperor Laozi himself has one, and he has worn it for tens of billions of years.
Deng Chanyu's robe was not exchanged, but rather the White Crane Youth thought that since she was an ordinary person who volunteered to fight for the Clarity sect, the Clarity sect couldn't ignore her and specially gave her one as a gesture.
If you're giving it to me, then I'll take it.
While taking the ox, she casually put it on.
This divine robe is fireproof and waterproof, and can also defend against numerous curses and spells. It is considered a very strong defensive garment.
Deng Chanyu is very familiar with the ways of demons but not so much with celestial demons. It's always good to have a higher defense.
Upon arriving in the Hongmeng World for the first time, she realized that her previous judgments had some discrepancies. This place, named by the Three Pure Ones as the Hongmeng World, indeed has a bit of a reputation.
A trace of Hongmeng Purple Breath in her soul emitted a signal, and she couldn't understand its meaning. Even if she used her heart sense, it wouldn't be helpful. However, she could guess that this place must be related to Hongmeng Purple Breath. Maybe it is the source of Hongmeng Purple Breath.
The Three Pure Ones called this place Hongmeng World, which means they probably knew about the existence of Hongmeng Purple Breath a long time ago. They also wanted to come here to search for this treasure. It was a pity that at that time, all the Hongmeng Purple Breath was in the hand of Hóngwéi, and they searched for tens of billions of years without finding it. In the end, they could only become disciples of Hóngwéi and then establish a great school after that, completely binding themselves to the Hongwu era in order to have the right to use Hongmeng Purple Breath. Finally, they achieved immortality.
In this regard, Nuwa was more astute and had better luck.
Nuwa's destiny had already been severed, and she had no connection with the Hongwu era through any school's qi fate.
The connection between the human race and Nuwa is indeed there, but it is the human race that owes a debt to Nuwa, not the other way around. Including the Master of Xuan Du, where did the ancestors of humanity get their long lives from? Did they appear out of nowhere? Were they granted by the Hongwu Tao? In fact, those were all Nuwa's own lifespan. Once she granted the lifespan to a million people of the human race, Nuwa has been worthy of the human race.
If she wanted to leave the Hongwu World, she could do so at any time.
Although there's nothing in Chaos, why go there? Is it not more enjoyable to stay in Hongwu? However, freedom is incredibly valuable for immortals.
The Three Pure Ones and the two saints from the West cannot do that. They have established great schools, and their sects are rooted here in Hongwu. Without extraordinary means, they can no longer leave the Hongwu World.
Deng Chanyu slightly closed her eyes and felt the call of Hongmeng Purple Breath in a very distant place.
Whether it is the newly born Hongmeng Purple Breath or the Hongmeng Purple Breath that scattered out after the Red Cloud's demise, she doesn't know.
She only knows that her reason for being in this world has increased
While Deng Chanyu rode the ox and watched the Hongmeng World from a distance, Wenshu, Pu'xiang, and Huanglong were already fighting hand-to-hand with numerous monsters.
Deng Chanyu calculated with her fingers and found that there was a time difference between the Hongwu World and the Hongmeng World. From the opening of the flame passage to their full descent, it was actually only an interval of an hour. However, in the Hongmeng World, the appearance of a channel composed of burning flames in a spiral distribution on the ground had already been three days ago.
At that time, the passage had not been fully opened yet. She had only made a location determination here, and the portal on the Hongwu side had not been opened.
Even so, there were still numerous monsters attempting to enter the passage and reach the other end. Regardless of what was on the other side, it was certainly stronger than the Hongmeng World. As a result, these monsters kept coming and all turned to ashes.
In the past three days in the Hongmeng World, countless monsters gathered around the flame passage, curious to see what would emerge from it.
The answer was revealed; the spiritual energy of Jin Za, Yang Jian, and their companions was as delicious as the most appetizing food. After the worm-like monsters, an endless sea of monsters surrounded them, eager to consume their flesh and blood completely.
Deng Chanyu sat on the ox's back and glanced at the numerous monsters twice, then shifted her gaze.
All of them were local spirits tainted by the celestial demon essence. Such mindless monsters posed no threat at all.
Indeed, that is the case.
Wenshu and Pu'xiang only tested them for a while, realizing that the enemy's strength was weak, and then they stopped their attacks one after the other.
Whether it's Buddha or a Great Bodhisattva, the vow of not killing needs to be upheld.
People who regularly engage in acts of killing often confront a question: Does killing a foreigner count as an act of murder?
Even the two great Bodhisattvas also face this dilemma. Killing beings from other realms, does that break the vegetarian vow?
They chose to stop, and then sent Huanglong, Yang Jian, Jiang Ziya, and Wei Hugu to kill.
Wei Hu, as a protective deity, does not need to adhere to the vow of non-killing. With his Dharma staff in hand, he swung his arms with all his might, fully displaying the true essence of a valiant general, knocking out one monster with each stroke.
Yang Jian wielded the three-pointed, two-edged sword, and the two had often cooperated during the Battle of Zhou. Now they were reuniting and it wasn't as if they were strangers. Wei Hu's moves were broad and sweeping, creating a path littered with corpses and covered in blood. Yang Jian was responsible for taking care of any survivors.
The bravest among them must be Huanglong Zhenren.
Fusing with the spirit essence of the evil dragon that separated, he uses his own goodness to suppress evil thoughts on a daily basis. While his thoughts can be suppressed, his combat instincts cannot be.
To the onlookers, Huanglong Zhenren was unparalleled in courage. With his sword made of dragon teeth, he moved up and down, killing everyone in his way in less than a cup of tea. His beard was covered in a thick, green bloodstain.
Deng Chanyu gently closed her eyes, flicked her sleeve, and the scale measuring heaven and earth was in her hand. She began to calculate the direction of the world's earth veins.
Soon, she pointed to a direction. It was surrounded by boulders and dark, like a stream of tar running through the center of the boulder area.
Deng Chanyu said, "Ladies and gentlemen, let's set up our formation over there."
The few Daoist cultivators were not in their peak state, and the location of the place where the heavenly demon's seal was located needed to be carefully searched. This was not a problem that could be solved in a short time. Therefore, they needed a safe resting point here.
The black, tar-like river running through the center of the boulder area divided it into two parts, representing yin and yang. It had five elements of nature and was suitable for setting up an array.
