Chapter 11 Lost Kite

Bang, the box room door closed.

Tang Qian's face was filled with disappointment and bitterness.

"Uncle Tang, please go out first. I'll talk to you later," I whispered softly.

Tang Quan's lips moved silently, not responding, and he pushed me aside, heading out in a huff.

At this time, three people walked slowly in front of us.

They seemed to have drunk too much, balancing on tiptoes and swaying from side to side.

One in the lead, two following behind.

The person at the front had a weirdly sunken and deformed face, with a dirty footprint in the middle of his forehead.

As the three people passed by me, they glanced at me, and their eyes looked red as if they were bleeding.

Brushing shoulders with them, I caught up with Tang Quan.

Immediately behind me, the sound of loud thuds striking the door echoed. As I glanced with the corner of my eye, they were standing in front of the private room door.

The lighting was slightly dim, and three shadows stretched out, all hunched over, with their abdomens strangely sunken in. The shadows kept writhing.

The three people hammered the door even harder, with a stern and ominous sound filled with coarse grit echoing through the hallway.

"Starving and dizzy, I open my eyes, only to see the little runt step on my father's face. Open the door!"

Without pausing, I continued walking out with Tang Quan.

In front of Fenghuanxuan, a few bodyguards were standing in the dimly lit area, watching me vigilantly.

On the right wall of the large screen, the dance movements swayed and intersected, and the DJ music was piercing.

Suddenly, a silver snowflake flitted across the screen.

The lights flickered on and off, and a crackling sound suddenly erupted.

Then, a loud snap! The darkness enveloped Fenghuanxuan!

"Cut the power! The power is off, go quickly!" someone shouted loudly.

The elevator's staircase was illuminated by a greenish pedestrian indicator sign.

Tang Quan and I descended from there together.

We walked across the street until we returned to the position we stood in during the day and stopped there.

Tang Quan stared blankly at the sign of Fenghuanxuan and then suddenly started to cry.

The rough skin was like a parched desert, and the sludgy tears moistened it.

He closed his eyes again, and tears still trickled from the corner of his eyes.

    "Uncle Tang, I..."

"Master...you don't have to say anything. You're right. One has to pay for killing, and you can't avoid the lawsuit for a person's life."

"I must serve you, help you do whatever I can, and when the day comes that you no longer need me, I will return and kill that beast!"

"Revenge of a gentleman, ten years is not too late."

Tang Quan opened his eyes again, and he bit his teeth fiercely.

However, his tone still maintained a respectful attitude towards me, as well as his understanding of me.

"Uncle Tang, look over there," I shook my head, pointing to Fenghuanxuan.

For a moment, Tang Quan looked confused and didn't understand: "Master, I've been looking at it all along."

"I want you to listen carefully?" I said again.

Even across the street, we could hear the terror-filled screams and cries mixed with the music of Fenghuanxuan.

This extreme noise formed another rhythm.

"Master... this..." Tang Quan's eyes widened in fear, and his lips moved silently, forming the shape of the word "ghost," but he dared not speak.

"Uncle Tang, ten years is too long."

"Can you endure it for ten years, Qianqian can be a ghost for ten years?"

"Yet, some people, though they look human, have long become ghosts. If heaven doesn't punish them, then it's up to the ghosts to avenge them."

"I led several starving ghosts inside. They can't eat enough, so no one will dare to enter a haunted place to consume. Fenghuanxuan is finished."

"The ghost wants to possess him because he has been cut off from life by a dead man's knife. It's more torturous for him to be alive than to die."

    "We have avenged ourselves."

As my words were about to fall, Tang Quan's tears flowed even more profusely, crying with an utmost sorrow that caused him to sob uncontrollably.

During this time, many people came out of Fenghuanxuan, all of whom were in a panic and ran to the ends of the street!

The lights came on, the originally bright white lights that could illuminate the sign with a golden sheen, but now the light seemed dim and eerie, tinged with a deep green, as if haunted.

After a long while, Tang Quan finally regained his composure.

He stared blankly and asked, "Master, what have you experienced over these ten years?"

I paused for a moment and replied, "A lot. Old Qin taught me a trade for ten years."

"Qin Weizi Mr.?" Tang Quan was shocked.

"Right, but he only taught me nine flows of art, not fortune-telling." I said again.

"Master! Fortune-telling is a matter of revealing heavenly secrets. You've done so much of it, and your life span is shortening. The nine streams of art are not weak at all!"

Tang Quan's reaction is completely different from Xu Fangnián.

Xu Fangnián felt disappointed, while Tang Quan was excited beyond words!

In the next second, Tang Quan suddenly froze, swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and muttered, "I saw you ring the temple bell, use a paper man, and shave your head..."

"Three... three? You actually learned three!"

    "Is three many?" I countered.

"Master, don't you know how hard it is to find people from the nine streams?"

"In the past, the Lord and Lady would always hire experts to accompany them when they went into the mountains. Every time, more than half of the money was spent on the remuneration of the accompanying people."

"I have dined with them and some others, those people are solitary and very haughty..." Tang Quan's tone grew more excited.

"Each time into the mountains? Uncle Tang, I've actually always wanted to ask you, what kind of business did my parents do?"

"When they..." At this point in my words, Tang Quan's face suddenly turned pale, and he wanted to speak but couldn't.

Just then, a few more people in a hurry came out of Fenghuanxuan, catching the attention of both me and Tang Quan.

You Feng was in the lead, with the young man being supported by a few bodyguards behind him.

The young man, whose constitution was already weak from indulging in alcohol and pleasures, had a pale face.

At this time, he woke up, but kept writhing his waist.

Not only did he not have any masculine energy, but this man of stature instead gave off a feeling of being alluring and delicate.

Suddenly, one of the bodyguards yelled and pushed the young man violently!

The young man stumbled onto the street.

"What are you doing!" You Feng shouted in anger.

The bodyguard's face turned red: "He...he touched my pants..."

The other bodyguards also had their faces flushed with embarrassment. They couldn't hold back the young man, and the reasons were all quite similar.

You Feng's face turned ashen, and he glared at the few bodyguards.

They quickly stepped forward to pull the young man back.

At that moment, a dazzling light flashed from a distance, continuously blinking with double flash prompts!

The several bodyguards quickly stepped back, and You Feng bellowed, "You Jin! Come here!"

A heavy compartmentalized truck raced up.

    Bang!

The young man was propelled out like a cannonball, flying about twenty to thirty meters before landing, as if it were a broken kite that had hit the ground.

    Blood, splattered everywhere.

The two shoes fell down afterwards.

The compartmentalized truck did not slow down at all; it didn't even sound its horn, but drove right over the young man!

You Feng went crazy, jumping directly in place, and then sitting on the ground wailing and screaming. Then, he got up and ran towards the direction where the young man had landed, crying and screaming.

The several bodyguards stood dumbfounded at the spot, when suddenly someone turned his head and saw me and Tang Quan. His eyes turned to terror, whispered a few words to the person beside him, and quickly ran towards You Feng.

    "Master... you also did..."

    Tang Quan was completely stunned.

"It wasn't me." I narrowed my eyes and twitched my eyelids uncontrollably.

    Coincidence?

There can't be such a big coincidence, such a large truck entering the city streets.

Hit someone and not stop, even run them over!

It's deliberate to come and run someone over to kill them!
